Boulder, Colorado wedding of Amy and Mike. I had never been to Boulder, CO before and all I can say is “WOW”! It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. The people there (especially Amy and Mike!) have a cool, calm, happy vibe that really spoke to me.

Amy is the sister of my close friend and former Party Perfect partner Laura. Planning her wedding was a joy primarily because of Amy’s relaxed attitude. If we played a drinking game for every time we heard Amy say “it’s going to be fine,” we would certainly have been stumbling home!

Amy and Mike wanted to be married overlooking the Boulder mountains, and the StarHouse proved to be the perfect location. With a house and grounds that provided sprawling views at the top of Sunshine Canyon, it was truly breathtaking. We embraced the outdoors and used wildflower bouquets to complement the environment.

For the reception, guests traveled down the mountain to the Boulder Tea House to celebrate the newlyweds. Simple greens and centerpieces featuring more wildflowers adorned the eating tables and each guest received a small succulent planted in a wooden box at their place setting. Their Boulder wedding was elegant and rustic and simple and beautiful all at the same time. Exactly what the bride had envisioned. Guests enjoyed cocktails and dancing outside and a delicious meal inside. It was an evening under the stars that will leave me smiling for years to come. Mazel Tov Mike and Amy!
