Charlie had a fun Baseball Themed Bar Mitzvah at The Alfond Inn! When I first sat down with Charlie and his mother, I already knew Charlie was a huge baseball fan, but what I didn’t realize was that his favorite team was the Red Sox! As a native Bostonian, I was thrilled to bring a little Northeastern pride to Florida. Instantly inspired, we created a logo
with the Red Sox font, paired it with photos of Charlie playing ball and we were off and running!
Planning the Baseball Themed Bar Mitzvah
Charlie’s mother wanted to incorporate a modern and fresh look while still maintaining the classic, hometown feel of baseball. In order to achieve this, we used clean lines of sleek black and white furniture and accents of red lighting to really make the room pop. We rented giant stainless steel bars that had the look and feel of a baseball stadium but were still very
contemporary. Simple, tight red florals with wheat grass presented a current look that was soft but still masculine. And because Charlie loves candy, we made a giant “Concession Stand” and used Fenway Park as our backdrop!
We had a plethora of custom items for the celebration, including candies, napkins, cups, pillows, signage and even baseballs with event logos that we handed out as give-aways at the end of the night.
Everyone had an amazing time at this homerun of a mitzvah. It was an evening to remember and certainly a great way to “take me out to the ballgame!”
An incredible team of vendors helped make this event a great success:
